After all the parts are removed, you have to remove the cartridge and clean it. If the cartridge has gone under some distortion. Replace the cartridge. Make sure the cartridge that you have selected is exactly the same as the previous one and has the same fitting. It should be from the same company too to ignore any distortion.

STEP-6: Reassemble Parts

Now reassemble the parts in the opposite order. And check if the tap is working correctly or not.
